SAKINA’s QR Lottery Feature Introduced at “PHOTONEXT 2026,” One of Japan’s Largest Photo Business Events!

SAKINA’s QR lottery system was introduced at “PHOTONEXT 2026,” one of Japan’s largest photo business fairs, organized by Promedia Inc.
Over the two-day event, the total number of registered visitors reached an impressive 9,332 people. Studio owners, professional photographers, and photography industry professionals from across Japan gathered at the venue, creating an incredible atmosphere filled with energy and excitement.
The system was put to the test in a large-scale real-world environment, with nearly 10,000 industry professionals constantly moving throughout the venue.

For this event, we went beyond simply installing the system. We carefully considered “how we could create an experience that would delight visitors and encourage them to explore the venue.”
The lottery prizes were specially selected to capture visitors’ interest, including Kiyoken bento boxes, a Yokohama specialty; “SMILE” logo badges connected to the event’s theme; and complimentary tickets to paid seminars.
We also placed QR codes throughout the various booths across the venue and installed beacons (location sensors) near booths and stages.
This allowed us to build a system that delivered optimized, real-time timeline information to visitors depending on the stage they were near.
“What is happening on this stage right now?” “What can I discover if I head over there next?”
By delivering this information in real time, we successfully created an engaging experience designed to keep visitors interested and encourage them to explore the venue.

💡 *The Value SAKINA Delivered at the Exhibition*
①🏃♂️➡️ Dramatically Increasing Visitor Circulation Throughout the Venue
By implementing a stamp rally-style system in which “visitors earn a lottery entry for each eligible booth they visit (up to six entries),” we dramatically encouraged visitors to voluntarily explore more of the venue, creating a natural flow of people across the entire exhibition.
The system sparked the feeling of, “Since I’m here anyway, why not check out that booth too?”, encouraging visitors to move beyond individual booths and discover more of the event.
②💫 Real-Time Acquisition of Behavioral Data and Automated Responses Through SAKINA
As visitors participated in the lottery or passed through areas equipped with beacons, their actions were linked to interactions through the official LINE account.
This enabled us to instantly record real-world behavioral data, including who was interested in which booth or stage, and when.
Based on this data, SAKINA MA delivered personalized surveys and content tailored to each visitor.
③🔍 Maximizing LTV Beyond the Event
Exhibitions often end with the excitement of the event itself. With SAKINA, however, engagement can continue even after the event has ended.
Using the accumulated data, AI analyzes each user’s interests and level of engagement and suggests the next actions to take.
Rather than allowing each interaction to end as a one-time encounter, SAKINA helps build long-term engagement and implements a system designed to maximize customer LTV (Lifetime Value).
